Lecture by the writer Margaret Wesseling.

Margaret Wesseling was born in Alaska and grew up in Vermont. Half Dutch and half American, more Greek. She is a playwright, poet, and translator. She studied at Harvard, U.C.L.A., and the University of Groningen. She has written nine plays and given numerous performances.

Interested in community. One would think that a gift of flowers, fruit, the colors of the summer season would warm, open but not always. Is language used to conceal or to reveal?
